Oh what fun this show is. Clementinecaboose gave it to me a month or so ago and how lucky I am for him to have brought it to my attention.

My favorite part is the Eleven > Caution. This caution is as of now my all time favorite version. Just smoking.

Around 5 minutes in (or so) phil's bass takes on a distorted tone which is so perfect. Thing is it fades in and out, leading me to believe this is some kind of anomaly. I don't think its the recording, could phil be destroying his speakers? I'm just wondering if this was intentional or something that just happened.

At any rate if you're lookin to get the blood flowin, look no further. This eleven is also smokin and just a hair behind 10/12 imo. Clementine also says its one of his favorite 68 stars, though i've yet to give it the full attention it likely deserves.

Right on man! Absolutely one of my favorite shows from '68. DS>SS>11>Caution is likely the best-ever performance of this sequence (although check out 2/5/69 if you've never heard that - comes mightily close). Anyone know how may times they did this sequence?

Looks like you might start getting addicted to these early years, eh? eh??

edit:

2/11/69 is DS>SS>11Jam>Drums>Caution

11/8/69 is DS>O1>DS>UJB>DS>SS>11>Caution. Looks like there are only two 'pure sequences', so calling 10/20 "likely the best" is not open to much debate I suppose, hehe...

This source will not show up for me, regardless of what browser I use. I have an old copy of this show, but not the Miller board, and I was trying to hear this upgrade but was disappointed when I could not steam it. Help Charlie!

Have you tried broiling instead of steaming?

It works fine for me using Windows Media Player.

Thanks Mando. That did the trick. I just realized the copy I have which I dl'ed in '04 is a CM copy as well, however this source is definitely an improvement. The older CM source is still excellent though. Not sure why it doesn't show up in the steaming player. I don't think I've ever seen this before.

Haven't given the show a full listen in at least a year, and I'm looking forward to giving it a spin today.
